30 May Monthly Update: New Versions Released in May 2024

Hey everyone!

DOit is constantly updating and enhancing our system with your suggestions and necessary industry requirements. The month of May has been packed with lots of new releases, and we are happy to share with you.

To make it easier for you to find what you’re interested in, we’ve separated the releases by modules.

Below you can find the most important release notes for this month.

 

General

  • DOit now supports running multiple instances of the application, enhancing availability and scalability for select customers.
  • Optimized address search for faster results across the system.
  • Optimized contact search for faster results across the system.
  • Optimized product search for faster results across the system.

 

Company Setup

  • Added Import Users toolbar to Company Setup :: Users :: General.

 

Contacts

  • Minor improvements on freight label generation.
  • Resume showing export on Contacts :: History :: Purchases.

 

Finances

  • It is no longer possible to generate more than one service invoice for an accounting entry using the ‘Accounting Entry Tools’ modal in the Finances :: Lists.
  • Improvements made when reconciling a transaction on Finances :: Transactions.
  • Improved the way departments and categories are handled in financial records and recurring transactions for better performance.
  • Adjusted the finance description column on Finances :: List 2.

 

Invoices

  • We Added the ‘sent email’ column on Invoices :: Service :: List which has been hidden by default.
  • Updated body of Grouped Invoice email template, from “2of your invoices can be found attached to this email.“ to ”2 of your invoices can be found attached to this email.”
  • Optimized the bulk invoice emailing to prevent system halts.
  • Added new Send emails toolbar on Invoices :: Service :: List to send issued invoices via email with or without bank slips.
  • You can now select a few exports to be generated automatically when a record is closed.

 

Product

  • Now you can update labelers through the excel import.

 

Shipping

  • Added sales person on Shipping :: Allocation which has been hidden by default.
  • Added link to party record on Shipping :: Shipments :: Contact Labels customer column.
  • You can now select a few exports to be generated automatically when a record is closed.
  • Now the estimated delivery date is saved.
  • Performance improvement for spreadsheet generation on the Shipments module.

 

Inventory

  • Inventory Count report pre-processing time improvement.
  • Inventory Out Items with T3 report generation optimized.

 

Purchase

  • Added “(Label Included)” to Subject on PO IF labels are created for an email with Shipping Label.
