13 Aug Optimizing Inventory Management with DOit ERP
Accurate inventory management is a backbone of efficiency in the pharmaceutical sector. With DOit ERP, businesses can seamlessly adjust stock levels to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with industry regulations such as DSCSA and EPCIS.
When inventory adjustments are needed, DOit ERP provides a structured and transparent process for modifying stock levels. Users can quickly search for a specific SKU, select the appropriate warehouse location, and manually decrease stock when necessary. Each adjustment requires a justification, ensuring that every modification is properly documented for audit and compliance purposes.
By doing these adjustments, DOit ERP helps businesses maintain precise inventory control, prevent discrepancies, and optimize warehouse operations. Start by copying the SKU you want to adjust.
Move to Inventory::Out and click on the Sun icon to start the adjustment process.

Enter the SKU and click Search.
The product information and the quantity available in stock will show.

Select Decrease Stock Manually followed by the Quarantine or Warehouse you want to remove.
In the From area select the warehouse location the affected inventory is assigned to and the lots will populate in the Items area and enter a Justification for the adjustment (this field is mandatory) and click Confirm.

The item you removed from active inventory will be shown at the top of the Inventory::Out list with a status of Decreased.
If you have multiple SKUs to remove/adjust, you will need to repeat these steps for each.
