Hey everyone!
DOit is constantly updating and enhancing our system with your suggestions and necessary industry requirements. The month of April has been packed with lots of new releases, and we are happy to share them with you.
To make it easier for you to find what you’re interested in, we’ve separated the releases by modules.
If you have any questions, remember to reach out to Support!
We’ll gladly show you how everything works. You can also schedule additional training!
Below you can find the most important release notes for this month.
Inventory
- The “None” option has been added to the Verification Status column located in Inventory :: S/Ns :: In. This allows the user to know a SN has been scanned only on the SO.
Locations
- Implemented a new Cycle Count Inventory report on Inventory :: Setup :: Locations, allowing cycle counts to be performed immediately after picking without waiting for shipping order closure as it was. The old Inventory Per Location report still remains.
Invoices
- Added a column that allows hiding service codes in Invoice :: Setup :: Service.
E-commerce
- Integrated contacts now retain their external references, enabling sales orders to bypass the inbox.
- Added new columns Pre Authorize Sales and Pre Auth Term to automatically pre authorize credit cards for integrated sales from webstores.
- WebStores now include a new configuration option called “Override Customer Name.” When this setting is enabled, sales integrated from the store will use the customer name already registered in DOit, rather than the name provided by the store. This option is particularly useful in cases where the store submits informal or inaccurate customer names, while the correct business name is already properly maintained in the system. By default, this setting remains disabled, ensuring that existing store integrations continue to operate without any changes unless the option is explicitly enabled.
Shipping
- DOit now supports the new Fedex Integration authentication methods.
- The “None” option has been added to the Verification Status column located in Shipping :: Record :: S/Ns. This allows the user to know a SN has been scanned only on the SO.
- Added flag, shipping rule, and webstore to the shipping order scanning screen.
See you next month.
